Road Code of Conduct—
Safety First: Always wear the appropriate gear: helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, and other protective gear. Ensure your motorcycle is in good condition before every ride (e.g., check tires, brakes, lights, and fluids) . Follow speed limits and adjust your riding speed to road conditions and weather. Ride defensively and stay alert. Always anticipate other drivers' actions and be ready to react.
Respect the Law—Consistently obey all traffic laws, signals, and regulations. Avoid riding aggressively or disrespecting traffic rules, such as running red lights or weaving through traffic. If riding in groups, stay within legal noise levels and emissions limits.
Group Riding Etiquette: Ride in a staggered formation unless instructed otherwise, maintaining safe distances between bikes. The lead rider oversees setting the pace. All members should follow the lead and adapt to the group's speed. Always signal clearly when changing lanes or turning. If you need to stop, ensure it's in a safe, visible, and appropriate location for everyone. When stopping in groups, keep your bike upright and avoid unnecessary engine revving.
Communication: Use hand signals for essential communication (e.g., left or right turn, slowing down, stopping). Before setting off, all riders know the plan (e.g., route, fuel, and rest stops). Be mindful of the radio communications (if used) and avoid distractions during riding.
Respect for Other Road Users: Be courteous to other motorists. Do not engage in aggressive behavior or road rage. When required, yield to pedestrians and cyclists and be aware of vulnerable road users. Keep noise levels in check to minimize disturbances to residents and other road users, especially in residential areas.
Weather and Road Conditions: Adapt your riding style to weather conditions like rain, snow, fog, or high winds. If road conditions are hazardous (e.g., gravel, potholes, wet roads), slow down and be cautious. In extreme weather conditions, consider postponing or rescheduling rides for safety reasons.
No Alcohol or Drugs: Never ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substances that impair your ability to operate your motorcycle. Always ensure that all club members adhere to the same principle for everyone's safety.
Respect for the Environment: Avoid littering or damaging the environment. Respect natural spaces and public roads. If riding through nature reserves or national parks, follow posted rules and minimize environmental impact.
Help and Support: Assist fellow riders in need. If a member breaks down or faces difficulties, help as best as you can. Be patient and offer encouragement, especially to less experienced riders. Communicate any potential hazards or issues on the road to the group.
Handling Conflicts: Address any conflicts with respect and maturity. Resolve issues calmly without escalating them. Respect the personal space and boundaries of other riders. If disputes arise during a ride, it's essential to remain professional and not allow the issue to affect the safety and enjoyment of the group ride.
Social Media Code of Conduct:
-
- Be Respectful: Treat all members with kindness and respect. Personal attacks, name-calling, or hurtful comments will not be tolerated.
- No Hate Speech or Discrimination: Hate speech, discrimination, or any form of content that promotes intolerance based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any other identity is strictly prohibited.
- Stay Constructive: Criticism should be constructive and helpful. Avoid unnecessary negativity or complaining without offering solutions or productive feedback.
- Encourage Positivity: Focus on uplifting others and sharing positive thoughts, stories, or experiences. Constructive conversations and diverse perspectives are welcome, but the tone should remain respectful.

- No Trolling or Flaming: Disruptive behavior is not allowed, such as trolling or starting unnecessary arguments to provoke others.
- No Personal Drama: Keep personal issues outside of the group. The group should be a space for discussions relevant to the community's purpose, not for airing personal grievances.
- Mind Your Language: No profuse profanity at our meetings or on Social Media outlets.
